Alban Collette SAINT-LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Alban Collette, 75, husband of Jeannette (Savoie) Collette, of Villa Maria Inc. Saint-Louis de Kent, NB and formerly of Saint-Maurice de Kent, passed away at the residence on Saturday January 4, 2003 after a brief illness. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent, NB on February 10, 1927, he was the son of the late Cécime Collette and Alice LeBlanc. He worked in labour and construction. He attended Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Anne de Kent and was a member of the Sainte-Anne Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife Jeannette (Savoie)Collette; three daughters, Doreen Irwin, Theresa McGillivray, Jackie Collette all of Maple Ridge, BC; five sisters, Stella Maillet, Bernice Duplessis (Aubé) both of Bouctouche, Edith LeBlanc (Ernest) of Saint-Paul de Kent, Huberte Bastarache (Gerard) of SaintLazare de Kent, Emma Desroches of Penetang, ON; one brother, Aldéric (Rose-Marie) of Ayer, Mass; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Oscar, Elzéar, Simon, andGuy. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., Bouctouche, NB with visiting hours on Sunday, January 5 from 2:00 - 4:00 and from 7:00 - 9:00 and Monday from 2:00 - 3:45. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday January 6, 2003 at 4:00 pm at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Interment in Parish Cemetery.
