Harold James WILSON

Wilson: Harold James 1934 - 2003. Harold James Wilson passed away on January 4, 2003 at the Hanna Long Term Care Centre at the age of 68 years. Harold was born on July 21, 1934 to Clarence and Gladys Wilson in the Drumheller Hospital, the second son and the last child to complete their family. Harold will be sadly missed by his mother Gladys Wilson of Drumheller, Alberta, his three daughters, Pat and Jerry Bordula of Hanna, Louise Hansen of Hanna and Bonnie and Rick Ripper of Drumheller, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, his brother Frank and sister-in-law Eunice of Drumheller, AB. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Harold was predeceased by his father Clarence in 1995. Harold was an animal lover at heart, always had a dog and horses, had a great sense of humour, always playing tricks on people. He had a very special horse called George. George was trained to jump up into a truck out in the middle of nowhere, just say get in and he would do that. He was very good with a rope and hind footed at many of the brandings in the county. Life slowed down for Harold when he was stricken with Parkinson's disease and he was in the Hanna Long Term Care until his death. A Memorial Service will be held at First United Church, Hanna, AB. on Thursday, January 9, 2003 at 2:00 pm., with Pastor Wayne McCrackin officiating.
