Wallace Gordon Coutts 1917 - 2003 NOTRE DAME, NB - Wallace Gordon Coutts, of Notre Dame, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, January 17, 2003 at the age of 85 years. Born in Saskatchewan, on March 25, 1917, he was the son of the late James and Caroline (McTavish) Coutts. He was a veteran of WWII. Wallace was a former mechanic for various companies. He is survived by daughters, Carolyn (John) Clare of Sussex, NB, Deboraha "Debbie" (Thomas) of Christmas, Afton, NS, Debbie Elaine Coutts Patterson of Camrose, AB, and step- daughter Martha (Daniel) Babineau with whom he resided; sons, Wallace Steven Coutts, of NS, Angus Dryden Coutts of AB, and Angus "Bow" Gordon Coutts of Lennox Isle, PE; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; step-daughters, step-sons, step- grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his common law wife Mary Theresa Clemment in 1994 and step-daughter Ann Marie Solomon. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Monday, January 20, 2003 from 7:00-9:00pm. The Royal Canadian Legion will be holding a prayer service at the funeral home on Monday evening at 7:00pm.The Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame De Sacre Coeur on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at 11:00 am with Father Yvon Arsenault officiating. Interment will be in Notre Dame De Sacre Coeur in the spring. In Wallace's memory, donations made to The New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
