Edna Comeau AMHERST, NS - Edna Mary Comeau age 95, of Amherst died Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at Gables Lodge, Amherst, N.S. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Cormier) Dupuis. Edna was a member of Nativity Of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church, Amherst and the Catholic Women's League. She is survived by three sons, Leon (Marilyn) of Marimichi City, Laurie (Martha) of Saint John, and Edward (Linda) of Dartmouth, N.S.; one sister, Kay (Laurie) Bourgeois of Amherst, N.S.; six grandchildren, Sherri Lynn, Steven, Kevin, Derek, Sarah and Corey and several nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1974; three sisters, Bertha MacAlear, Olive Babineau and Artiemise Bourque; two brothers, Lawrence and Ned. Her remains are resting at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, N.S. with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from Nativity Of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church, Amherst, N.S. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Interment will take place in the spring in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery, Amherst, N.S. www.campbellsfh.com
