Valerie Gallant Valerie (Elsie) Gallant, 82, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Monday January 27, 2003, after a brief illness. Born in Adamsville, daughter of the late Patrick and Ida (Williams) Gautreau. Valerie attended Paroisse Notre Dame de Grace. Valerie will be sadly missed by her Daughters, Yvette Gauvin, Worcester, Mass., Carmella Bulley, Moncton, Freda Eldridge (Don), Worcester, Mass. Lucille Gallant, Moncton; Sons, Bernard Gallant, Hamilton, ON, Paul Gallant, Norman (Jasmine), Moncton; 15 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Sister, Theresa Tracey (Carman), Belleville, ON; Brothers, Hector Gautreau, Moncton, Norman Gautreau,Vancouver,BC.; Several Nieces and Nephews. Valerie was predeceased by her husband Benoit in 1994; Son, Reginald; Sisters, Stella, Edna (Dolly), Alvina; Brothers; Clarence, Ernest; Adopted Parents, Hercule and Odile Arsenault; Half-Sisters, Mae, Marianne; Half-Brothers, Andrew, Gildas. No visitation by request. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, Thursday January 30, 2003, 11:00 am, Rev. Robert Savoie officiating.
