WHITEHEAD, Dennis Crosley, Peacefully at home, with his loving wife at his side, on Wednesday, July 16, 2003, in his 81st year. Dennis, beloved husband of Helen (Ella). Dear father of Derek and his wife Pat of St. Catharines and Steven and his wife Rhonda of California. Loving Papa of Darryl and David and Jenny and Scott. He is survived by his brother Norman and his wife Jill of St. Catharines. Predeceased by his parents and sister Joan, late of England. Remembered by his cousins Phyl and Bob a nd their families, all of England. Dennis retired from General Motors in 1985, after 35 years of service. He was an avid cricket player and was involved for many years with the St. Catharines Tennis Club, especially their junior program. A special th ank you to Dr. E. Hunt and the ParaMed nurses and Home Care staff for their kindness and support during the last six months. Cremation has taken place. Family, friends and neighbours are invited to a celebration of Dennis' life to be held on Sunday, July 20, 2003 from 2-4 p.m. at the family home. Remembrances to the Hotel Dieu Oncology or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
