Peter Paul Sherman Accidentally on Saturday July 19, 2003 at Poplar River, Manitoba, Sherman Peter Paul passed away at the age of 30 years. Sherman had spent his entire life at Poplar River. He was a first responser and was a volunteer fire fighter. He participated and supported all community events. Sherman leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his wife Georgina, 3 children: Carmel, Sherman Jr. and Lynde, 3 sisters; Deanna, Perlyn and Eleanor (Roger), 2 brothers; Christopher (Terri) and Louie, grandparents William and Maggie Paul and grandmother Evelyn Bruce. There are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Prayers were said on Sunday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue at Parr, Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Monday July 21, Tuesday July 22 and Wednesday July 23 at the Poplar River School gymnasium. Funeral service will be held on Thursday July 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the Poplar River Community Church with Fr. Rheal Forest officiating. Interment to follow at Poplar River Cemetery.
