Catherine Isabelle MELDRUM

BERMEL, Catherine Isabelle nee Meldrum - While on vacation and to be at the wedding of her grandson Tony Bermel, in British Columbia, the Lord called Cathy home to be with Him. God's ways are not always our ways (Isa. 55:8). Cathy was born in Toronto June 30, 1929. Beloved wife of the late Anton (Tony) Bermel (1975). Cathy is survived by her son John Bermel and her daughter Mary (Guhl) Bermel, both of Welland. She will be missed by her grandsons Tony, Thomas, Grant and Derek and two great-grandchildren Tony and Franky. She is also survived by her 97 year old mother who lives in Fort Erie, brothers Bob Meldrum (Ev), David (Barb) and sisters Florence (Jim Wolbert) and Marion (Mal Egeto) and all their families, predeceased by her father Robert Burns Meldrum (1965). Friends will be recieved at the Fort Erie Chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes, 21 Wintemute Street on Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Cathy's funeral service will be held in the Chapel and will be officiated by Reverend Jeff Sider on Monday, July 28, 2003 at 11:00 o'clock. A Christian Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
