Pietro "Peter" Basili April 14, 1954 - September 18, 2003 BASILI, Pietro (aka Peter) Passes away on September 18, 2003 with his family by his side at 49 years of age. Loving husband of Lynn (nee Lee). Dear son of the late Tarcisio Basili (1979) and Teodolinda Basili. Dear son-in-law of Betty Lee and Hugh Lee (1979). Dear brother of Laurie Benton (nee Basili) and husband Ralph Benton. Dear brother-in-law of Nancy Lee. Loving uncle to Scott Benton, Anastacia and husband Chris Remillard. Precious great uncle to Willow and Reed Remillard. He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and business associates. Peter was the owner of Basili Cement Contractors. The company was originally founded by Peter’s beloved father Tarcisio Basili. Peter’s commitment to his family will always be remembered as well as his kind and caring attitude by everyone who met him. Visitation will be Sunday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. funeral Service will be Monday, September 22, 2003 at Janisse Bros - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. (253-5225) at 11 a.m. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the V.O.N. or the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. "You will always be in our hearts." A tree will be planted in memory of Pietro Basili in the Janisse Bros - Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 2004. All are welcome.
