LUCY,Shirley June (nee Scott) - At Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 after a courageous battle with Arthritis and recently Cancer. Beloved wife and best friend to Tom Lucy for 45 years. Predeceased by her mother, Laura Curry. Loving mother of Scott (Holly) and Sherry (Roger). Sister to Ken Scott. Grandchildren include Kelli, Krista, Cheryll and Robyn. Shirley was a charter member of the Kawartha Golf and Country Club and was formerly employed by Westclox Co. Service will be held in the chapel of the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Saturday, October 25, 2003 at 1:30 pm, with visitation from noon until service time. The Reverend Jim Burn will be officiating. Interment Lakefield Cemetery, following the service. Reception to follow at the Comstock Funeral Home after the funeral. The family would like to thank Drs. Shannon, Beamish, Doris and Messervey plus the wonderful staff at Hutch 4th Floor and 2 West.
