CARRIERE, John Edward (Ed) Retired Police Officer - Cornwall Police. On Friday, October 31, 2003 at the Brockville General Hospital at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine (King) Carriere. Loving father of Monica Livius of Addison, Leonard Carriere and his wife Diane (Gilmer) Carriere of Cardinal, and Diane Carriere of Brockville. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Jason Livius and his wife Amy, Marissa Livius, Jessica and Bradley Carriere. Also survived by his sister Therese Carriere, and his sister-in-law Jackie Carriere both of Cornwall. Predeceased by brothers Lucien (Lou) and Lionel Carriere and by a son-in-law John Livius. Family and friends called at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday. In celebration of Ed's life funeral services will be held in the Chapel Monday, November 3rd at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium with Interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland ,at a later date. In remembrance, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital's Adult Day Program or the Victorian Order of Nurses will be gratefully acknowledged.
