SMITH, Lorne W. Peacefully in his eighty-sixth year on Sunday, February 1, 2004. Devoted husband of the late Annie Smith, step-father of Deanna Sauve (late Andre Rodrigue), brother of Ivan Smith, Mildred (James Levia), Greta (late John Frederick Scott) and Serita (late John Margrett), uncle of James and Robert Smith. Special thanks to the Lakeshore Hospital and Manoir Ste. Genevieve for the exceptional care and compassion given. Visitation on Thursday, February 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont (514-279-6540). Funeral service will follow in the chapel of the Complex. Burial will take place at the Mount Royal Cemetery on Friday, February 6 at 11 a.m. Family will receive condolences as of 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
