ROCHETTA, Joseph Anthony (Joe) (Retired Nashua Canada Employee, Longtime member of the Kawartha Golf and Country Club, Peterborough Sports Hall of Fame Inductee, and Overseas Royal Canadian Navy World War II Veteran) - It is with deep sadness that the family of Joseph Anthony Rochetta announce his peaceful passing at the Palliative Care Unit (PRHC) on November 8, 2003 with his son by his side. Joe, in his 83rd year, was the beloved husband of the late Ramona Anna Jackson (June 3, 1992), devoted father of Paul and wife Penny and cherished grandfather of Meagan, Michael and Stacey. Dear brother of Reverend Sister Mary Rochetta of the Sister's of the Precious Blood, Scarborough, Paul (Irene pre-deceased) of Kingston, Angie Winfield (George pre-deceased) of Arizona and Lucy and husband Milt Clark of Belleville. Pre-deceased by his parents Dominic Rochetta and Filomena Luisi, and sister Rose Gaunt and a brother Philip Rochetta. Dear brother-in-law of Frances McNamee, Marjorie and Harold May, Lorne Jackson and Alberta Jackson. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday (Parish Prayers with Father Paul Massel at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday) Funeral Mass in St. Alphonsus Church on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at 10 a.m. with Father Leo Coughlin officiating.
