SHEPHERD, Lionel C. "Turk" - Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at Willoughby Manor in his 96th year. Dear husband of the late Gladys Fairlie (1985). Loved father of Bryan (Cecilia) and Norman (Irene). Grandfather of Charlene (Nick), Christopher (Jennifer), Heather, Brian, Adam and Sarah. Great-grandfather of Cameron and Alex. Survived by his brother Harold (Edna) Shepherd, his nephew Paul and niece Margaret. Predeceased by his nephew Robert "Bob". Turk was employed for numerous years with the Coca Cola Company and a member of Oakwood Gospel Hall. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Hetherington and Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Ave. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, November 14, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
