HARTLEY; Elizabeth "Ellen" - Peacefully at Eventide Home, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday November 25th, 2003. Born in Montreal, Quebec on January 6th, 1915 to Edward and Beatrice Bullock. Predeceased by her husband Peter Hartley (1978), her sister Alma Sanborn (1990) and her daughter Ruth Grue (1999). Beloved mother of Marion Bedell (Don) of Niagara Falls. Cherished grandma of John, Jim, Dan (Fran) and Tom (Karen) Grue, Cathy (Marty) Fraser, Carole (Steve) Hari and John (Laurie) Bedell. Great-grandmother of 16. Ellen was a long time member of Kitchener Street United Church. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her happy outgoing personality and her loving ways. Resting at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, on Victoria Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral chapel on Friday November 28th, 2003 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
