Alex GIZUK

Well known former Kapuskasing businessman, Alex Gizuk, 76, late of Leamington, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, December 11, 2003 at the London Health Sciences Centre. Dear husband of Lorraine (Larabie). Dear Father of Kurt and Dawn Gizuk, Barrie; Lee and Michele Gizuk, Kapuskasing. Loving grandfather of Nicholas and wife Cindy, Kristen, Sierra-Lee, Sam and great grandfather of Andrew and Kaitlyn. Dear son-in-law of Agathe Larabie, Leamington. Dear stepfather of Pierre Dallaire and Juliana, Ottawa; Eric Dallaire and Angela, Ottawa; Mireille Dallaire-Trigonidis and Steve, Claremont. Dear brother of Vera Lazar, Collingwood. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Gizuk was predeceased by sisters Jenny Kusovac and Tanya Wolf and brothers Mike, Walter and Johnny. A memorial service to celebrate Alex's life will be held at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519) 326-2631 on Saturday, December 20, 2003 at 11 a.m. Fr. Peter Amszej will officiate.
