FLEMING, Roma Peacefully at Guelph on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at the age of 92 years. Roma Holmes, beloved wife of the late George Fleming. Dear mother of Helen McLeish (Richard) of Guelph and Wilfred Fleming of Ottawa. Loving grandma of Martin and Megan McLeish. Dear sister of Mary Lawlor and the late Lillian McPherson, Jean Lawlor, Morna McKinnon, Vivian Holmes and Hilary Holmes. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Roma and her husband George were one of the founding members of Holy Trinity Parish, Sudbury. Roma was an active member of the C.W.L. and a founding member of Sacred Heart Messenger in Holy Trinity Parish. She was actively involved for many years with C.P.T.A. and the ladies auxiliary of Marymount College, Sudbury. After living a very active life in the Sudbury Community, Roma and George retired to Guelph in 1991. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent St. on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth's Church, Cantley. Interment Parish Cemetery.
