PHELAN, Joseph T. Suddenly at his home in Perth on Wednesday January 28th, 2004 Joseph T. Phelan (veteran of WWII, R.C.A.F., retired owner of Phelan's Service Station) at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Catherine R. (Noonan) Phelan, loved father of Martha Phelan of Calgary, Mary Jane Monsalves of Kingston, Melanie Phelan of Ottawa, Tom Phelan of Perth and Pat Phelan of Calgary; cherished grandfather of Kateri and Andrea, Tynan and Leif, brother of Bernadette (George) James of RR#2 Lanark, Theresa (late Don) Stelliga of Cambridge and late Mary Phelan. Joe will be sadly missed by dear friends Art and Millie Pennett, nieces, nephews, family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth Friday January 30th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John's Church, Perth Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Memorial Fund of St. John's Church or fund of one's choice would be appreciated.
