FORMAN, John "Murray" WWII Veteran - Wing Commander RCAF Past Deputy Chairman of Canadian Pension Commission Past President & Member of Royal Air Force Escaping Society of Canada Longtime Member of Westboro United Church Peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2004 at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus in his 91st year. Born in Listowel in 1913. Son of the late John Forman and the late Mary Fraser. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen "Kay" Pearson-Todd. Loving father of Ann Forman (Chris Czartoryski) of West Vancouver, BC. Dear brother of Graham of Windsor, Ruth Allison of Woodstock, Ross (Evelyn) of London, Neil (Marion) of Listowel. Predeceased by a sister Jean Thompson. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Mr. Forman, a decorated war veteran, was shot down over occupied France in 1943 and evaded capture. He was a former resident of Riverpark Place Retirement Home and a resident of The Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre for the past year and a half. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel.
