ROBINSON, Patricia Josephine (nee Adye-Curran) Beloved mother of Elisa (Patrick), Michael (Fiona), John, and Perry (Sonja). Died peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital on Thursday, March 11th at the age of 83. Born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1920. Served in the Women's Royal Naval Service (W.R.N.S.) during WWII. In 1946 she married Canadian soldier, Captain Perry Ronald Robinson, and in 1947 she accompanied him to Canada. Patricia was an avid reader, golfer, bridge player, and reciter of poetry. Loving sister of Mamie McConnell and Lucy Loughney. Deeply cherished grandmother of Mick, Amy, Kyle, Jessica, Samantha, Jake, Perry, Sine-Brynne, Tara and Roma and great-grandmother of Keona. Indeed, her special gift was with children and she had a much admired capacity to enter their world and earn their trust and love. She will be greatly missed by her loving godson, Maurice. The Robinson family would like to thank Dr. Choudhri, Nurse Linda Hay and all the fourth floor staff at the Queensway-Carleton who helped to make our mother's last weeks more comfortable. Private family service with cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing to do so may make memoriam donations to the Palliative Care Fund, Queensway-Carleton Hospital.
