Donald Stuart PARKS

It is with great sadness that the family announces the loss of Don (Dick) Parks on Monday February 10, 2003 at the age of 76. Dearly loved husband for 49 wonderful years to Ruth (Armstrong). Cherished father of Nancy (John Houser), Bonnie (Dave Sutton), Brenda (Grant Wilson), Wendy (Andy Dupuis), David (Subin) and Pam (Rob Kerr). Proud "Grampie" of 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by one brother Glenn of Trois-Rivieres, and predeceased by brothers Walton, Tim and Douglas. A man of strong convictions and a pillar of strength in his community, Dick cherished and embraced life, living it to the fullest, while encouraging family and friends to do the same. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will be received in the hour prior to the 2 p.m. memorial service at City View United Church, 6 Epworth Ave., Nepean, on Saturday, February 15, 2003.
