John BERNARD

BERNARD, John (Jack) August 12, 1942 - March 14, 2004 Retired co-owner, operator of Gold Crest Lodge, Golden Lake, passed away peacefully at Renfrew Victoria Hospital, Sunday, March 14, 2004 after a lengthy but dignified battle with cancer in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Maggie) McManus-Bernard. Step-father of David (Jane) Brown, Teresa Brown and Dennis (Julie) Brown, all of southwestern Ontario. Brother of Ron (Verna) Bernard, Darwin Bernard, and Helen (Stash) Bernard, all of Golden Lake, and half-brother of Wayne (Doreen) Bernard of Ottawa. Jack was "Poppa Jack" to Kayd and Ethan Brown, Matthew and Dalton Stover, and Trevor and Tyler Brown. Uncle to Cheryl (Jamie) Kelly, Helen (Greg) Sarazin, Alana (Mark) Hein, Jason (Kelly) Bernard and Danita (Jeff) Sparenga. Predeceased by his father Anthony (Tony) Bernard. Cremation.
