Joseph MARTIN

Ret'd CPO 2 Oct 17, 1942 - March 31, 2003 With great dignity and strength, Joe's battle with cancer is over. While holding the hands of his beloved family and friends, Joe found his way home. He will be remembered with a smile, by so many. Joe is survived by his devoted and loving wife Laurie Martin. Father of 3 sons and 2 daughters, Douglas, Darrel, Duane, Janeen and Carolyne. Grandfather to Duncan, Dedrick, Dominic, Andrew, Rebekah, Jakob, Kayla, Emily and Jessica. Loving brother to Irene, Paul, Roger, Gerry, Claire, Jeannine, Cecile and Diane. Predecesased by Maurice and Rita and his parents Paul and Pearl. Words cannot express the gratitude felt for the special people who have shown the true meaning of friendship. Thank you Ron Bernard, Lynn and Jan Donker and Lisette Van Raadshooven. You'll be missed by your fur babies "little Buds" and "Bailey", Wilson & Mookie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. We will be celebrating Joe's life on Monday, April 7, 2003 from 2 - 5 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 800 Taylor Creek Drive, Orleans, Ontario. And remember "it's in the open., it's playable".
