Suddenly, Friday, May 9, 2003. Carl Rasmus Hanson, age 77, was born in Buffalo Gap, Saskatchewan and raised in Moose Jaw. Carl was a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, and served in the Canadian Army overseas during World War II. He worked as Commissioner of Finance for the City of Gloucester and was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge #24 Saskatoon. Carl will be sadly missed by his wife Laura (nee Sadler); his three sons, Ed, Sandy and Robert (Tracy, nee Folkes), and his grandchildren, Alexander, Sarah, Emma, and Mackenzie. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (south of Fallowfield Road) Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Univeristy of Ottawa Heart Institute are appreciated.
