Veteran of WWII, British Medical Corps Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday, May 11, 2003, in his 84th year. Bob Evans, beloved husband of the late Phyllis May (nee Lamb). Dear father of Linda Silver and her husband Steve of Perth and Diane Evans and her husband Ken of Sunderland. Loving "Grandpa" of Rebecca McCourt and her husband Patrick, Kurtis Silver; Kenneth Evans and Melissa Evans; predeceased by grandson Robbie. Dear brother of Bill of England and James of Kingston; predeceased by sister Peggy Henderson. Also remembered by his nieces and nephews. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (Counter Street at Highway 2). Funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at 11 a.m. Reverend Jean Barkley officiating. Interment at Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea.
