THIVIERGE, Margaret "Dot" Dorothy nee Simpson Former Agriculture employee, long time member Montgomery Legion Branch #351 and Ottawa Humane Society. Suddenly, on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 in her 86th year, at the Civic Hospital. Daughter of the late Charles and Ida Simpson. Dear mother of Bernard "Bud" (Carmelle Lavigne), Wendy (Helmut Berg) and Nancy. Predeceased by her husband Bernard, son Terrence, brother Albert "Ab" Simpson and sister Violet. Will be missed by sister Ethel (Bill Malone), and brother Charles (Chick) Simpson. Much loved grandmother to Michael, Sheila (John O'Brien) and Brad. Cherished great-grandmother "GG" to Heather. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Dorothy will be fondly remembered for her sharp wit and sense of humour. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Sunday, March 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, March 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. Those wishing, may contribute to the Ottawa Humane Society Auxiliary.
