Donald John SPROULE

Peacefully, surrounded by his family and close friends, on Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Ottawa General Hospital, Donald John Sproule, in his 56th year, of Ottawa, formerly of Kitchener. Predeceased by his father, John Bruce Sproule. Cherished son of Margaret Elizabeth Sproule. Sadly missed by his beloved Courtenay Evans; his sister, Judith Ann Elma Bampton and her husband, Russell David Bampton; dear cousin to Joan Margaret Raaflaub. Lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Don was a graduate of Forest Heights Collegiate and the University of Waterloo. He recently retired from a 31 year career with the Federal Government. His enthusiasm, sportsmanship and sense of humour in curling and golfing were greatly admired by his friends. Funeral services were held in Kitchener on Saturday, June 14, 2003 at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre. Visitation will take place in Ottawa on Wednesday, June 18th, from 18:00 to 20:00 at the Rideau Gardens Retirement Residence, 240 Friel Street (corner of Rideau).
