Ruby Mae SCHIMMENS

Peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Thursday, July 10th, 2003 in the presence of her family in her 78th year. Ruby Mae Krantz (nee Schimêmens) of Golden Lake, beloved wife of Sam Krantz. Dear mother of Jean Morgan (John) of Bancroft. Predeceased by her daughter Donna Hoffman. Loving grandmother of John Morgan, Elizabeth Bauman (Greg), Alexandra Miller (Jeff), David Hoffman, Tim Hoffman, Bonnie Hoffman and Christopher Hoffman. Sister of Grace Barker (Verne) and Murray Schimêmens (Susan) both of Pembroke. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret Dailey, Jean Vant, Becky Schreader and Alice Schimêmens and brothers Harry Schimêmens and Mervin Schimêmens. Sister-in-law of Mary Schimêmens. Ruby is survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Simon and Sophia (nee Maves) Schimêmens. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday morning July 14 at 11 o'clock in Zion Evangelical United Church, Pembroke with the Rev. Ed McCaig officiating. Interment Zion Evangelical United Cemetery. In memory of Ruby, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
