Lillian Dorothy Winnifred HALCRO

Born April 1, 1918 Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, on Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband William Thomas. Loving mother of Anne (Bruce Fraser), Joan (Michael Lavell), and William "Bill" (Marianne). Dear grandmother of Alexandra (Mathieu Canavan), Julia, Katherine, Heather (Ian Thomson), Robin and Sarah. Survived by her sisters Kathleen Lynch, Lois Kentfield, brothers Wesley and Arthur Halcro, and sisters-in-law Violet Veach and Gwen Garvin. She will be sadly missed by her friend Gertrude Moore and neighbours Margaret Croe and Mr. and Mrs. Bahar. Lillian was a long time member of St. Peter's Anglican Church, and was presently attending Britannia United Church. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, on Wednesday, July 16, 2003, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Britannia United Church would be appreciated by the family.
