Keith AMOS

Passed away on Friday, September 12th in hospital following a brief but gallant fight with cancer at the age of 73. Frederick Keith Amos is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Joyce; his two loving children, Janet (Hien) and Ian; his sister Muriel (Hugh); many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and special nieces and nephews. Since his retirement from C.P. Rail in 1986, Keith enjoyed travelling, lawn bowling, curling, square dancing and participating in the Hazeldean Mall In Club and made many wonderful friends. He will be sadly missed by all and fondly remembered for his generous spirit, wonderful sense of humour, and love of life and people. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, Wednesday after 11:00 a.m. A Service in Memory of Keith will be held Wednesday in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital and the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre for the compassionate care that they provided to Keith during his illness.
