House of Commons Security Staff, Sgt. (Ret.), WWII Veteran Peacefully on November 2, 2003, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Dorcas (nee Lynch). Loving father of Robert (Betty) of Dunrobin and Carolyn of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Kimberly and Grant. Dear brother of Joyce Miller, Alice Castellano (Alf), and Edena McDermid. Brother-in-law of Lorna Holbrook. Predeceased by his sister Violet McIntyre and brothers, Lawrence, Trenholme and Omar. Special thanks to the staff at the Peter D. Clark Centre for their loving care. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Tuesday, November 4th from 2 to 5 and on Wednesday, November 5th from 12 noon until service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at St. John's Cemetery, South March.
