Suddenly at his farm on Saturday, November 8, 2003, Lanson Hyndman, age 81 of R.R. #2, Mountain. Beloved husband of Margaret Christie. Loving father of Helen (Brad Mayhew), Marilyn (Bob Williams), Murray (Wendy Kirkby), and Jo-Anne (Allen McCaslin). Cherished grandpa of Neal Bartholomew (Kelly), Chris (Cheryl) Williams, Kevin Williams, Jeff (Cate) Hyndman, Jamie Hyndman and predeceased by Barry Bartholomew. Fond great-grandpa of Brett and Kara Bartholomew and Cheyenne and Jarrett Williams. Dear brother of Corienne Wilson and predeceased by Clare Hyndman and Donna Simms. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Lanson will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, Church Street, South Mountain,( 989-3836) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral Service will be held at the St. Andrew's United Church, Hallville, County Road #43 at Church Road on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment South Gower Cemetery. By family request, donations may be made to St. Andrew's United Church or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
