Neil Joseph COMEAU

COMEAU, Neil Joseph-79, Weymouth, Digby Co., died November 30, 2003, in Digby General Hospital. Born in Saulnierville Station, Digby Co., he was a son of the late Richard and Alma (Deveau) Comeau. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving 23 years in the military including being commissionaire. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 67, Weymouth. Surviving are his daughter, Leona (Greg), Meteghan; grandchildren, Rick (Dawn) and Shawn; great-grandchildren, Shelby and Liam. He will be sadly missed by his dog, Sandy. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret; son, Michael; sisters, Teressa, Margaret, Cecile, Emilie; brothers, Ernest, Arcade, Leo, Edward, Louis, Camille. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Jayne's Funeral Home, Weymouth North, with prayers at 3:45 p.m. this afternoon and a Legion tribute service at 7:30 p.m. this evening. Funeral mass 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Weymouth, Father Chinedu Chukwu officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
