Marie Thérèse MELANSON

DUGAS, Marie Thérèse-75, Villa Acadienne, Meteghan, Digby Co., formerly of Grosses Coques, died February 7, 2003. Born in Concession, she was a daughter of the late Denis and Marguerite (Thibodeau) Melanson. Surviving are her husband, Gerald Dugas; son, Richard "Ricky" Dugas, Grosses Coques; daughters, Doreen d'Entremont, Raynardton; Della Comeau, Belliveaus Cove; grandchildren, André and Miranda; sister, Antoinette Blinn, Belliveaus Cove. She was predeceased by brothers, Jimmy, Johnnie, Jessie, Benoit; sisters, Agathe, Lucille, Prescille and Estelle. She was a bookkeeper for Comeau Contracting Ltd., then for her husband with J. Gerald Dugas and Son Ltd., until her retirement in 1989. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Church Point, Rev. Yvon Dionne officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations to the parish cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home.
