GAUDET, Clara Mary The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Sumêmerside, on Thursday, February 20, 2003, of Clara Mary Gaudet (nee Arsenault), formerly of Sumêmerside, age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Gaudet. Dear mother of Claire Arsenault of Hamilton, Ontario; Janet (Leonard) Perry of Sumêmerside; Roma (Hank) Gallant of London, Ontario; and Bobby of Kitimat, B.C. Also lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers, Alyre Arsenault of Kinkora; and Alcide Arsenault of Richmond; her sister, Lucy Cochrane of B.C.; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Arsenault of Andrew's Lodge, Sumêmerside; Hazel Arsenault of Sumêmerside; and her daughter-in-law, Louise (Larry) Doucette of Moncton, N.B. Predeceased by her parents, Emmanuel and Marie Rose Arsenault; her son, Ralph; son-in-law, Lyman Arsenault; her brothers, Freddy, Ernest, Edmond; and her sisters, Edna, Yvonne, Sophie and Irene. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Sumêmerside, until Monday for funeral mass at St. Paul's Church, Sumêmerside, at 10 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Clara's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Members of St. Paul's Church CWL will hold a prayer service on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 at the funeral home. Visiting hours on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
