Aileen Mary LEBLANC

KNIGHT (LeBlanc), Aileen Mary-67, Eastern Passage, passed away on September 14, 2003, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, with her loving husband by her side. She courageously battled a very brief illness with cancer. Born in Yarmouth County, she was the daughter of the late Janet (LeBlanc) Holmes and stepdaughter of the late Leonard Holmes. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Robert; brother, Leonard, British Columbia; mother and father-in-law, William and Marie Knight, Michigan; sister-in-law, Arlene Narlock, Michigan; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Aileen loved her dog, Sammy, going to bingo and took much pride in her garden. She worked for many years at K-Mart, Woolco, WalMart and always had a smile for her customers. The family wish to thank the QEII nurses, as well as her cousin, Mona Moors, for the wonderful care they gave Aileen. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass and interment will take place Saturday, September 20, in Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or SPCA.
