LAMBERT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Solange Lambert (nee Levasseur) at Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg on May 28th, 2003. She was 85 years old. She leaves her 12 children, Lorraine (Frank), Philip, Raymond (Debbie), Jeanette (Keith), Gerard (Laura), Cecile (Bob), Raynald (Crystal), Louise (Mike), Claire (Jim), Gisele (Ray), Paul (Sharon), Bernadette (Peter); two sisters, Alma Demoissac and Stella Levasseur; one brother, Honore Levasseur; 19 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Camille and daughter Cecile. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to everyone who visited, prayed and offered comfort to our family during this difficult time. Solange was originally from Winnipeg. She had lived in the Vancouver area for the past 30 years. In April she went back to Winnipeg to visit and fell very ill. After six long, difficult weeks in hospital she passed away on Wednesday. A funeral mass will be at St. Norbert Catholic Church in Winnipeg at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 31st. For "the B.C. gang," there will be a memorial service by Father Patrick Tetoorten at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 315 Walker St. (off Blue Mountain), Coquitlam, at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 5, with a reception to follow downstairs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solange's favourite charity, Our Lady of Fatima, St. Vincent de Paul (address above), V3K 4C7. Mom, Grandma, we love you and miss you.
