Claudia CAISSIE

At the Tobique Valley Manor, Plaster Rock, October 15, 2008, Mrs. Claudia Babineau of Plaster Rock passed away at the age of 96 years. She was the wife of the late Arthur Babineau. Born at Lewiston, Maine in 1912, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Florida (Aurelie) Caissie. She is survived by her daughters and sons: Rose Curtis and Marguerite Babineau of Fredericton, Phillip (friend Jeannine), Alex (Doris), Ernest (Gladys), Peter (Margret) and Paul (Ann) of Crombie, NB, daughter-in-law, Joan (late Leonard) of Crombie, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, three brothers, Alec Caissie of Grand Falls, Ambrose of Prince Edward Island, Alcide of Drummond and one sister Irène Beaulieu of Drummond. She was predeceased by a son, Leonard. Her funeral was held Saturday, October 18th at 2 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Blue Bell, with Father Gilbert Doddatto officiating. The pallbearers were Chris Collette, Johnny McSheffery, Dean Curtis, Danny Babineau, Randy Babineau, Patrick Beaulieu and Curtis Andersen. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
