GOOD, JUANITA MURIEL The passing of Juanita occurred on March 14, 2006 at Farraline Place, Fredericton where she had been a resident for the past 6 years, moving there from Ward Settlement in 2000. Born in Williamsburg, on December 3, 1923 she was the youngest child of the late Morley and Annie (Parker) Kerr. She was predeceased by her husband, Quentin (1997); brothers, Ashley, Basil and Dean; sister, Leola (Ralph) Dorcas; and sister-in-law, Opal Kerr. She is survived by two sons, James (Fran Bell) Good of Douglas and Charles (Jan Whitehouse) Good of Hanwell; three grandchildren, Nicholas and Aaron Good and Karen (Perry) Dobbelsteyn; great-grandson, 7 month old, William Dobbelsteyn. She is also survived by a brother, Winston Kerr; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kerr and Marie Kerr; and several nieces and nephews. Juanita was a graduate of Provincial Normal School, 1941, and taught in several one-room country schools in the Stanley area. She was a member of St. Peters Presbyterian Church, Stanley, St. Peters WMS, the Ladies Aid, and Ward Settlement W.I. She retired from Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, where she worked for many years. "Nita" was known for her beautiful flowers, plants, quilting, crocheting, knitting and baking. She won many awards at the Stanley Fair as well as being chosen "Homemaker of the year." Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 2 pm from St. Peter's Presbyterian Church, Stanley with Rev. Kimberly Barlow and Rev. Gerald Kerr officiating. Interment will take place at St. Peter's Presbyterian Church Cemetery at a later date.
