Iona MAJUARY

TURCOTTE, Iona Peacefully, in hospital, Smiths Falls on Sunday, March 19, 2006, Iona (Majuary) Turcotte in her 88th year. Wife of the late Harold Turcotte. Loved mother of Carl (Sharryn) Turcotte, Ruth (the late Doug) Harris and Don Turcotte all of Smiths Falls and predeceased by two infant children. Sadly missed by her 7 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Victor (the late Lorna) Majuary of Carleton Place. Predeceased by brothers James and Clifford Majuary and sisters Annie Fisher, Ethel McIntyre and Eva Lavertue. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Wednesday, March 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. In remembrance, contributions to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society (L.A.W.S.) would be appreciated.
