HOWE, Alfred Laurence 'Howie' Retired Motor Mechanic, serving 42 and a half years with DND Member R.C.E.M.E Association Peacefully at home in Chipewa, on Saturday, April 15, 2006, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Jennette (Davis), dear step- father of Margaret Ann Bates, Kevin John Bates (Lori) and William Bates (Jennifer). Cherished and devoted grandfather to William Bates, and also sadly missed by granddaughter Robin Bates and grandson Zachary Bates. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Boulevard). Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7- 9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, April 20 at 10:00 am., with Rev. Laurie McKnight-Walker officiating. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery.
