JARVI, Katherine Atina (nee Isackson) In loving memory of Katherine Atina Jarvi (nee Isackson), 87 years, formerly of Lively, who passed away Tuesday morning, March 1st, 2005 at Extendicare York, Sudbury. Born in Creighton, she married Toivo Jarvi in 1934 in Copper Cliff. A long time Waters Twp. resident, Katherine had been a custodian for 20 years, retiring in 1972. Always quick to help others, she was an excellent cook whose delicious baking will be fondly remembered. She had a great affinity for animals. Katherine was a loving and devoted mom and mummy. Beloved wife of Toivo Jarvi predeceased 1988. Loving mother of Marlene Jarvi of Lively, Linda Herranen (husband Melvin) of Niagara Falls, Albert Jarvi (wife Denise) of Sudbury, Karen Punkari (husband Douglas) of Lambeth, Darlene Cook (husband Bob) of Lively and the late Irene Thomas, Arnold, Randy, Lance and Robert Jarvi all predeceased. Cherished grandmother of many loving grandchildren, great grand-children and great great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Uno and Ida (Hamari) Isackson predeceased. Dear sister of Norma Palomaki of Toronto and the late Stenhart and Frank Isackson, Viesti Kinnonen and Martha Mullolla all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. on Friday, March 4th, 2005 at 1 p.m. Interment in the Waters Cemetery.
