Della Catherine BARSTEAD

MILLS, Della Catherine (nee Barstead) Peacefully at Bethania Home in Winnipeg on April 08, 2006, one month after her 100th birthday. Predeceased by her husband John Graham (Shorty) in 1961 and her brother Russell in 1974. Survived by her sons John (Jack), Robert (Kris) and Alexander Graham (Lois), grandchildren Catherine (Sandy), Allison (Barry), Andrea (Mark) and David (Kim) as well as 6 great grandchildren. Della was a lifelong resident of Eganville excepting the past 10 years. She will be fondly remembered as a strong, independent and determined advocate of walking for health. Visitation at the Laundry Funeral Home, Eganville, on Wednesday April 12th from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service in St. John's Anglican Church, Eganville, on Thursday, April 13th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Della may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of a charity of your choice.
