Roy Michael ROSS

ROSS, Roy Michael Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday the 23rd of April at the age of 81. Husband of Mary Solomon and cherished father of Douglas. Dear brother of the late Pauline Karam, late Florence Hedley, Lawrence, Clifford (May) and Jackie. Also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Throughout his illness Roy showed incredible strength and never lost his spirit or sense of humour. We would like to thank the committed staff of Bayshore Home Health and the dedicated nurses at the VON. A deep felt thank you to Dr. Margaret Farncombe and Max Hamlyn of the Palliative Care Outreach Program. Roy is donating his body for Medical Education and Research to the University of Ottawa. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday at 11 a.m. to Saint Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral (Riverside Drive at Ridgewood Avenue).
