DEBORAH “Debbie” PROULX (Nee Joiner) 1957-2004 Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at the age of 46 years. Loving mother of Lisa Proulx and Trudy Proulx both of Timmins. Dearest grandmother of Regan Proulx and Kasia Spiechowicz. Sister of Linda Fleury (husband Guy), Ron Joiner (wife Mari) and Carol Clark (husband Dave) all of Timmins. Aunt to Shannon & Justin Fleury, Ellisa & Markus Joiner as well as Taylor Clark. Predeceased by her daughter Terri-Ann Proulx (1994) as well as her parents; Patricia (1987) and Norman Joiner (1970). Debbie was born in Englehart, Ontario on October 12, 1957. She moved to Timmins in 1970 where she has since resided. At this time the family would like thank the staff of the Timmins and District Hospital and Extendicare in Schumacher for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 in the CHAPEL of the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Fr. William Ferrier officiating. Cremation will follow and interment will take place at a later date in the Tisdale Cemetery with her late daughter Terri-Ann Proulx (1994).
