Cancade, Joyce Alma (Wren. WWII, Formerly a member of Barrie/Art Club and member of the C.W.L. St. Mary's Catholic Church, Barrie. Born 19th May 1926) Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Thursday December 2, 2004. Joyce Cancade (nee Martin) of Barrie, in her 79th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Joe Cancade. Mother of Christopher Martin Cancade (April) of Pembroke, and Sandra Barnes (Fred) of Hoe Doe Valley. Dear grandmother of Jacob and Jonah Cancade. Daughter of the late Mary (Vardy) and George Martin. Sister of Bea Montgomery of Oshawa and Ola Partridge of Bancroft. Pre-deceased by sisters Lydia Dean, May Reid, Sadie Hart and brothers Lingham, George, Elmer and Lloyd Martin. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (Clapperton and Worsley Streets), Barrie, on Friday form 2-4 & 7-9p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Church on Saturday December 4th at 10:00 a.m. Cremation. Memorial donations may be made to the R.V.H. Regional Cancer Care Centre.
