Pattenden, Maurice Frederick Peacefully in his sleep on Friday August 27th, 2004. Maurice Pattenden in his 88th year, beloved husband of Helena (Pipoli) of Barrie. Dear father of Grace and her husband Ron Young of Shanty Bay, Ruth and her husband Roy Sutton of Midhurst, Judy and her husband Cliff Adams of Minesing. Loving grandfather of Cindy, Kelly, Debbie, Ian, Jody, the late Jim and great grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Brother of Edna Harris of Barrie and predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, Clapperton and Worsley Streets, Barrie on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #147 will take place on Sunday evening. Service in the Chapel on Monday, August 30th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Minesing Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Cancer Care Centre or charity of your choice.
