Gwendoline Doris COUSE

COUSE, GWENDOLINE DORIS Passed away peacefully in Peterborough on October 25th, 2003 at the age of 78. Born March 9, 1925 in Worminghall, England. Doris came to Cookstown, Ontario in 1945 as the widowed war bride of Gordon (Jimmy) Dawson. Doris married Harry Couse of Cookstown on November 6, 1946 and was his beloved wife for 52 years before Harry passed away in 1998. Doris is survived by son Larry, his wife Carol and their children Julie and David of Burlington, as well as son Jim, his wife Diane and their children Virginia, Brien-Anne and her husband Kirk Reid all of Peterborough. A memorial service will be held at Cookstown United Church on Saturday November 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. 10/29/2003- ID2883243 - Barrie Examiner
