Richard Culver LONG

LONG, Richard Culver M.D. Age ninety, on June 1, 2006 of Wynnewood, PA. Born in Hamilton, Ontario. Educated at Lower Canada College, Montreal and McGill University, B.Sc., M.D. Post graduate training at the University of Pennsylvania and St. Thomas' Hospital London, England. Retired surgeon. Former Senior Surgeon, Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal. Associate Professor, Surgery and Associate Dean Medicine, McGill University. FRCS(C) and Diplomate American Board of Surgery. Survived by his wife Isabel Long, two sons Dr. Richard W. Long and Jeffery H. Long, and four grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter Barbara. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital c/o 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105. Funeral and burial are private.
