OBITUARY STEPHEN STANLEY ALBULET Steve Albulet, air pioneer, husband to Wilma (who left us in 1976 and will always be remembered), their children; Donna (Bill Richards), Jeff (Madelon) and Sue (Pat Williams), grandfather and great-grandfather and in later life, husband to Rhoda, has begun another flight. Steve passed away peacefully June 6, in his ninety-fourth year in Coquitlam, B.C. As a barnstormer, bush pilot and senior Air Canada captain, he had more flying hours than any other pilot in Canada. Imagine his parents telling him to stick to pharmacy as flying was hazardous to his health! Capt. Albulet landed the first passenger flight at Heathrow in London. Most importantly however he was our Dad, our friend, our mentor. We all have benefited from knowing and loving him. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. Grampa, Dad, enjoy your final flight, you have earned it. Flowers gratefully declined, donations to the Canadian Aviation Historical Society are ( www.cahs.com ) unnecessary, but welcome.
